Ja, so schnell kanns gehen und die Ernte ist wieder vorbei! Aber eines kann ich euch sagen: 2019 wird ein großartiger Jahrgang! Die Qualität der Trauben war sensationell, die Moste waren unglaublich gut und auch das, was jetzt schon fertig vergoren hat, ist ziemlich spannend ;)
Wir machen ja jeder Jahr wieder etwas Neues, aber heuer hats uns ein bissi den Vogel rausghaut ;) Neben Weißburgunder, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & natürlich Grünem Veltliner haben wir eine Grauburgunder Cuvée in den Keller gebracht, bei der wir uns ein bisschen ausgetobt haben. Vom einstampfen mit Füßen bis zur Gärung im Barrique - ich sag mal es wird ein Pet-Nat der Sonderklasse ;)

so harvest 2019 is DONE! YAY! And I can tell you: it was blast! Great quality, great quantity, great weather and most of all: the best helping hands ever! And just like every other year we also tried something new this year! Besides Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir we also brought some Pinot Gris into our cellar and we did it the really old way ;) crushing the grapes with our own feet. God that was harder than expected! Stomping 400 kilos of grapes is quite a workout, unfortunately only possible during harvest ;) the crushed grapes stayed on the skins for 24 hours before beeing gently pressed and filled into our small barrique to ferment and be bottled for Pet-Nat! So there's nothing more to say than: 2019 is gonna be AWESOME!
